We Are Home: 💜Help us build a safe, accessible, and welcoming community center!

For the last 28 years, We Are Family has been a beacon of hope and acceptance for LGBTQ+ youth. We've witnessed the transformative power of love, mentorship, and community in the lives of these young people.

But we can do more. We can be more. Our new community center will be a haven of acceptance, offering a wide range of services and programs designed to empower and uplift LGBTQ+ youth.

Here at WAF, we know that the needs of members of our trans community do not begin and end with legal and healthcare costs, but we also know that these folks often face expenses in these areas that cisgender people do not. This year, we were able to

In April 2021, we launched the life-saving programing that provides FREE Mental Health Services for LGBTQI+ Youth and connects them with our network of affirming therapists. Thanks to your support, this year we provided 478 hours of therapy to youth!

From our virtual programs like our discord server to our in-person groups, our youth attendance has grown and is counting to grow!

Join us for our Leadership Camp!

September 13th - 15th 2024!

Leadership Camp is back! Increase your leadership skills, learn about intersectional social justice issues and movement-building, get resources for affirming health and wellness and more while engaging in fun activities such as candle making, photography, art and more! This is a day camp which means youth will spend the day in camp and go home at the end of the day. Food will be provided for all participants!
